About The Author

Sorena Saffarpour

One inspiring author who survived a traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, and being in a coma is Sorena Saffarpour. In 2020, at the age of 17, Sorena suffered a severe brain injury after crashing into a tree while driving in Northern Virginia.

The injury left Sorena in a coma for several weeks, and when he woke up, he was unable to speak, read, swallow food, write and even left the left side of his body paralyzed.
